The College of Law’s A.P. Tureaud Chapter of the Black Law Student Association, together with the Law Library, are celebrating Black History Month with a special display that chronicles some of the history of African-American law students and faculty here at Loyola.
The display, in the center display case at the circulation desk, uses
articles from the College of Law’s old student newspapers, The Legal Rag
and The Code, as well as a few other items from the law library archives,
to examine significant events and people in the law school’s history
that are relevant to Black History Month.
Also running through the month of February is a slide show taken from the items in the exhibit.
